“It is never too late to become what you might have been.”
– George Eliot
Nobody likes change. We all have our routines, especially when it comes to what we eat. This is a big part of why so many diets fail: habits, bad or otherwise, are hard to break. However, as history has clearly shown, without change there can be no progress. This is just as true on a personal level. Are you ready to change?
Changing How You Approach Food
In order to achieve success with fat loss, you
must first overcome your fear of change. This means that you might
not be able to eat the same things that you’re used to. (Sorry,
but no number of point allocations make eating cheesecake or potato
chips a healthy choice.) If you want to lose fat, you’re
simply going to have to change the way you do things. The secret
to fat loss does not involve pills, starving yourself or unnecessary
cosmetic surgery. What it does involve is taking responsibility
for what you put in your body and committing yourself to changing
the way you view food. The good news is that it’s really
not as hard as you think, and there is help and support available
to you along the way.
Proteins and Carbs: Separate But Equal (Mostly)
Do you like steak? How about chicken, potatoes,
or pasta? But wait, aren’t potatoes and pasta carbs? Carbs
are bad, right? Wrong. There has been so much misinformation about
proper dieting tossed around over the years that it’s no
wonder people get confused.
Let me make this clear: proteins and carbohydrates are not only perfectly acceptable in a healthy diet, but they are required! The key is how you fit them in: they must be separated. This means having protein meals separate from carb-based ones. It's about working WITH your body's natural digestive preferences, rather than working against them. Fortunately, this is relatively easy to do using the Know How program.
Fat is Your Friend
Do you want to know what else is critical to maintaining a proper diet: fat! Yes, you read that right; your body actually needs fat to run properly. Seriously. The whole concept of having fat in a diet has become vilified over the years. In a sense, it’s not that surprising that this misconception is so popular. Logic suggests that to lose fat, you’d simply stop eating it. As you may have guessed by now, the body doesn’t work that way; it needs a regular supply of healthy fat to survive. Here’s the thing: not all fat is the same. This is one of the reasons why reading and understanding nutritional labels is so important.
What the Know How Program Does:
- Provides the eye-opening truth about achieving proper nutrition
- Teaches you how much and how often to eat
- Shows you what to look for (and avoid) when reading nutritional labels
- Gives you the knowledge you need to easily separate and plan
your meals
- Allows you to establish proper ratios for your meals
